Dayna has been my personal trainer for over 2 years. I am a recently retired 61 year-old physician, so I know first-hand how important exercise is to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. But I never worked out on a regular basis until I met Dayna. I specifically chose her to be my trainer because of her maturity, experience and particularly her skills working with middle-aged female clients to help them make positive changes.  Working individually with Dayna has made a huge difference in my commitment and perseverance. I have had some orthopedic and serious health challenges during these two years and Dayna is always able to continually individualize my program with my safety and wellness in mind.  Not only have my strength and endurance really improved, but I look better too!

Dayna was simply awesome as my personal trainer. I am a 50 year old professional trying to get some flexibility and endurance back into my life. Dayna’s plan for me, including cardio training, meal plans,  lots of warm ups and stretching that make me more limber, and an endurance regimen that is both challenging and exhilarating, has helped me tremendously re-make my body. I highly recommend her! She was always encouraging, pushed me just enough to set new personal bests, and has been the best support to help me begin this new stage in my life.

Dayna is an amazing personal trainer.  After having total hip replacement surgery, Dayna has helped me to come back stronger and in better physical shape than I was before the surgery.  Dayna is a knowledgeable personal trainer and she has pushed me to achieve great results.  I couldn’t be happier!

Dayna is warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable.  She has kept me fit at the age of 83.

I’m fortunate to have worked with Dayna for over a year.  I met her while I was at an all-time fitness low.  Mid-thirties, heavy, out of shape.  After a couple of initial meetings, she looked me in the eyes and said she could help me.  I barely knew Dayna, and yet I believed her.  She stepped into my life at the perfect time and offered me the hope and support to start moving again.  I didn’t think I would ever be strong and fit again.  She believed I could and convinced me of it one grueling squat after another.  She reminded me every day to stay focused on my goals and to never give up on myself – no matter the setback.  Dayna’s been a true advocate for me and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Exercising is changing how I feel from the inside out.  At this stage of my life emotions have been unpredictable and I am no longer able to deal with them with intellect alone.  Working out is waking me up to what my body is telling me.  It balances me out emotionally as well as strengthens me physically.  I am learning to trust and appreciate myself and the information my body gives me.  As I push through discomfort physically I feel stronger emotionally.  I used to rely on my intellect alone and avoid being in my body.  Now I feel my body in order to balance my emotions.

The more I work out, the higher my overall energy is.  There is a definite recovery time after my work out, but then I kick into gear.  My mood is better, I feel more energized and there is a sense of wellbeing that carries me through the day.

I no longer have sleep issues after 10 years of deprivation and I no longer need medication.

It is strange and delightful to feel my own strength, to feel my muscles, to be able to move easier and lift more weight.  I feel like I am physically younger than I felt a year ago.

My appetite has diminished over the years even though my body didn’t look like it.  This affected my mood and my energy, but I just wasn’t hungry.  This is now changing, I actually have an appetite for healthy foods and it is changing how I feel on a daily basis.  I never realized how out of touch I was with my body until now and I never realized how this contributed to depression.  It is still surprising to experience weight loss with an increase of food.

I have had Dayna as my personal trainer since the summer of 2012. We met 3 times a week for an hour when I first started. My goal was to regain strength that I was losing in the aging process. Dayna was personally invested in my success immediately. She is very supportive, knowledgeable, and a great coach. Sometimes I would get discouraged and  not want to do the next set of moves but Dayna can cajole me into finding that strength.  I feel I have come a long way in the 4 years we have worked together, thanks to Dayna’s determination.  I am so grateful that I have been able to work with Dayna, she’s awesome!

I have been training with Dayna for 2 ½ years.  Previous to that I doubted the value of using a personal trainer and assumed it was a waste of money.  I thought I would give Dayna a try, get in shape for ski season and be done.  I wasn’t watching the numbers on the scale, but as soon as I noticed my ski pants where too big I knew I needed more sessions!  Working out with Dayna twice a week, I have seen amazing results and have never felt stronger or healthier.  Dayna is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session.  Her easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.  She makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun!  She also places high value on correct form with each exercise.  She motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results.  I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely, I dropped three pant sizes, and I have increased strength and stamina.  Dayna’s professionalism, knowledge in flexibility set her apart from others in her field.  Her personality and encouragement keep me a loyal client.
